The Hypertech Spectrum Speedometer Calibrator is the latest version from Hypertech. This new device allows you to re-program for correct speedometer readings, as well as correct part-throttle shifting, if you've installed tires that are larger or smaller than your factory tires, or if you have installed a ring and pinion gear set with a different rear gear ratio.
In addition, Hypertech's Spectrum Speedometer Calibrator has the ability to correct, read, and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) or "Check Engine" lights, as well as the ability to adjust the TPMS warning threshold when larger than stock tires are installed. This allows owners to view detailed information about the vehicle's operation without having to purchase expensive diagnostic computers or scanners used by dealership technicians.
The Hypertech Spectrum Speedometer Calibrator installs in less than 15 minutes without using tools or getting your hands dirty. The device plugs into your vehicle's under dash OBD-II port and you simply select the tire height and new gear ratio. Within a matter of minutes the vehicle's computer calculates your speed based on the diameter of the new tires. Additionally, the Hypertech Spectrum Speedometer Calibrator is covered by the manufacturer against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year.

The Hypertech Spectrum Speedometer Calibrator can only be used with one (1) vehicle at a time. As with all other programmers, once programmed, the programmer is locked to that vehicle and cannot be used with any other vehicles until the programmed vehicle is returned to stock settings. So if you sell your vehicle or want to use it on a friend's vehicle, simply return your vehicle to the stock tuning program and you may then use the programmer on another vehicle that is covered in the same part number.

1 Year Factory Direct Limited Warranty
Hypertech products are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Hypertech's liability under this warranty shall be limited to the prompt correction or replacement of any defective part of the product which Hypertech determines to be necessary. This limited one (1) year warranty is to the original purchaser providing all the information requested is furnished. You must retain a copy of your original sales invoice or receipt. Without proper documentation, a service fee will be applied. Third party resellers and resold units are NOT covered under this warranty.
Return Your Vehicle To Stock Tuning
BEFORE Taking Your Vehicle In For Service
If you take your vehicle to a dealer or mechanic for service, you must first remove the Hypertech Power Tuning and restore the stock programming. This is because diagnostic devices expect to find stock calibrations and will often overwrite the program if the latest stock calibration is not found in the computer's memory. This will result in the loss of your Hypertech Power Tuning data. The Power Tuning can be easily removed to restore the stock tuning before you take your vehicle in for service, enabling the service technician to upgrade your stock calibrations.
